While I am sure there is far more I missed, all that I noticed was John Locke's line in Part II. When describing Backgammon he states:
LOCKE: Backgammon is the oldest game in the world. Much older than chess. Archaeologists found sets when they excavated the ruins of Ancient Mesopotamia. Would you like to guess how old they were?...Talk about foreshadowing the entire Jacob/Esau plot!
Five thousand years...
WALT: Did they have dice and stuff?
LOCKE: Yes. But theirs weren't made of plastic. Their dice were made of bones. ...
The Persians called it "Takhteh Nard" which means "Battle on Wood".
Two players. Two sides. One is light. One is dark.
That's all for the Pilot, no onto Tabula Rasa
